What is a Roll labels?
The term roll label is very commonly used within the print industry, It is simply referring to any labels that are wound onto a roll, usually around a cardboard tube a bit like a toilet roll. You can have as many labels on the roll as you like to fit your printer.
Plain & Printed Roll Labels
Your labels can be plain and ready to over print yourselves or they can be pre-printed and ready to apply. Usually labels on rolls that are blank are over printed using a mono colour printer. The majority of Plain labels are either a Thermal Transfer labels that is printed with a ribbon or a Direct Thermal labels that is printed with a Thermal Printer.
Digital Printed Roll Labels
Digital printing refers to methods of printing from a digital-based image file directly onto a Material, for example a Self adhesive paper Label. Digitally Printing labels is usually a great choice for small-run jobs usually printed with a laser or inkjet printer. Digital print has a higher cost per page than more traditional flexo label printing, but this price is usually offset by avoiding the cost of all the technical steps required to make printing plates. Flexographic Roll Labels
Flexographic Printing (often abbreviated to flexo) is a form of printing which utilises a flexible Printing plate. It is essentially a modern version of letterpress where is image is burned into the rubber plate leaving just the area raised that you want to print with. Flexo printing can be used for printing onto almost any type of substrate, including plastic, metallic films, cellophane, and paper. It is widely used for printing on the non-porous materials required for packaging. Flexopraphoc Labels are also well suited for printing large areas of solid colour.

We can wind your Round labels & Circle Labels onto rolls, a lot of people start with round labels on A4 Sheets and progress to Rolls usually because of an increase in volume but also for ease of use. Round stickers on rolls save space and are easy to dispense.

We can supply you with your Thermal Transfer Labels on rolls, These can be pre-printed with your company logo or any information you want us to print for you! or you can have them blank too.

Go2products can supply you with your Direct Thermal Labels on Rolls. Most direct Thermal labels are blank however we do offer to print onto them for you with our specially designed thermal printing inks. Most people can only print black themselves so we are often asked to pre-print any colour onto the labels for them.
