Direct Contact Food Labels
Labelling directly onto food places some unique demands on your choice of labels.
You will need safe labels that won’t migrate into foods, even under damp or greasy conditions.
Direct food labelling also applies to a diverse range of requirements, some of which are the ambient-temperature or chilled storage, is it a smooth or rough surfaces, and also is it dry or wet conditions they are being applied.
Direct contact food labels are usually placed directly onto foods,such as fruit brand labels or weigh-scale labels.
But also labels that are placed onto packaging that may need to meet direct food-contact requirements, such as packaging with thin barriers or micro perforations.
