Rectangles Label Templates
Within the Microsoft Word program there is a simple program which helps you to position the print on labels accurately. To find this, go to: Mailings > then click on the labels icon. Then under options, you can select the label layout if you know the equivalent Avery code. For reference the Avery label codes are listed in the table below and in our product descriptions.

Circles Labels Templates
We have recently Revamped our Circle Templates for Word to a Table Style as requested by alot of our customers. You should find this to be easier for text printing and also adjusting this will be easier as you can just change the printer margins to move the table about.

We appreciate that some people may already be using software or label designs that rely on the use of Avery codes; some of our label sizes are the same as those offered by Avery, which means that you can use our label products AND continue to use your existing software and/or templates you may already have. If one of our label sizes is the same as an Avery label size, the relevant Avery code(s) will be listed alongside our own Product code(s).
We do not sell Avery labels BUT many of our label sizes “Avery Compatible Premium Labels” are exactly the same size as those produced by Avery & are compatible with Avery formats.
If you want labels that match a particular Avery size or want/need to use an Avery template to print your labels, you can buy labels from us safe in knowing that they are completely compatible with their Avery equivalents.

Design & Print Tips – Things to try..
Is your print settings set to print ‘actual size’? Having your printer set to ‘Fit’ or a Percentage for example 98% will also affect the printing layout & position
Click ‘File’ then ‘Print’ Click ‘Page Setup’ at the bottom of the settings – Click on the margins tab & Here you will see the Margins that your printer currently set to, In here you make adjustments to align the print to one side or the other for example increase the left margin size to move the text right or decrease it to move your text left. You can also make a similar adjustment for more your Text up & down the page, for example Increase the Top margin value to move your text down the page or Decrease it to bring it up the page.
Drying Problems on an Inkjet? Try adjusting the DPI of the print, this should reduce the amount of ink being laid onto the sheet & should help with the drying process.
Try Printing through the bypass tray? (if your printer has one) Some Printers print more accurately through the bypass, this tray is designed to accept thicker materials such as labels and offers a straighter path through your printer by bypassing one or more feed rollers, which should reduce the chances of your label sheets rotating slightly as they are printed. So this is worth a try to test the position of your print.
Laser and Inkjet printer have an accuracy of +/- 1mm, so make sure you leave a good margin around your design or text to allow for this. If your text is going right to the edge of the label consider reducing the font size or word positioning.
Most Laser printers have an alternative setting for ‘labels’; this changes the default paper setting from 80gsm. On the screen that appears before you print look for the ‘properties’ or ‘settings’ option where you will find a selection of ‘material’ settings. Choosing the ‘labels’ setting will slow down the printer and will alter the temperature of the fuser unit, so that more energy is supplied to the labels. This bonds the toner to the surface of the labels. If you use the ‘normal paper’ settings then the toner may rub off easily because there has not been enough energy to bond it correctly.
Some Copier Printers have a thickness setting that also will affect the print Speed, Try setting your printer to ‘Thick 2’ or ‘Thick 3’ to slow down the printing process, this should reduce any printer feeding slip & could increase the image printing quality.
